Welcome to The PC Gaming Weekspot, Rock Paper Shotgun’s weekly recap on the last seven days in PC video games.
In Headlines and Hot Takes, we discuss the recently announced Hitman 3 location, Chongqing, and what that the future might hold for Ian Hitman. As well as that, CD Projekt Red’s CEO has said that Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer will be a standalone thing, so there’s some speculation on that. Plus, some chatter on Marvel’s Avengers sales and a Microsoft Flight Simulator update that might interest UK-based players.
In Show And Tell, Matthew and Colm chat about Zelda-like, Immortals: Fenyx Rising. Ubisoft’s latest open world game doesn’t hit the heights Matthew wants from something that feels so inspired by Breath Of The Wild, but both still agree that they want to see more games like it.
In tribute to our American cousins and their recent celebration of food and drink, Mystery Steam Reviews centres on video games that have a large food and/or drink element. Naturally enough, things get a little heated. And we open The Weekspot mailbag in Burning Questions.
Our little show began life as a weekly YouTube livestream, so some things may be lost in the audio version of this The PC Gaming Weekspot episode, but we hope you still enjoy it!
